MIT Solve has revealed the semifinalists for its 2024 Global Challenges, and out of more than 2,200 applicants, Rainfall solution for "Self-sovereign Personal AI" has been selected as a semifinalist!
This year, the Global Challenges addresses pressing issues such as the 114 million people forcibly displaced due to war, violence, and climate-related disasters, and the two billion workers worldwide in informal, precarious jobs facing disruptions from AI and other technologies.
MIT Solve seeks out tech-based innovators committed to increasing financial and economic opportunities for everyone. Our "Self-sovereign Personal AI" aims to make a significant impact in these areas, led by CEO Amit Pradhan and CXO Mark Strehlow. Our solution addresses several UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including No Poverty, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Industry, Innovation, Infrastructure, Reduced Inequalities, and Responsible Consumption and Production.
In September, MIT Solve will reveal over $1M in prize funding for the most promising solutions. To learn more about MIT Solve's Global Challenges and Rainfall's solution, visit here.
